It will attract a lot of birds

This WildBird Care ground platform bird feeder is excellent for a bird lover. My Dad has a yard full of birds. He feeds them sometimes 2 times a day. He has bird houses and feeders that attract all types of birds. He will love this. The handles can be placed on the top to hang the feeder up or they can be placed in the bottom so the feeder stands up off of the ground. When the handles are on the bottom the feeder is a little unstable unless it was pressed into the ground. It measures 10 x 10 inches and it is about 1 inch deep. The frame is made of wood. It is built solid but the wood has not been sanded very well and one of the corners does not line up straight like the other 3. Of course none of that would matter to a bird. There is a rod at the bottom that turns to lock the tray in. When moved the tray can be removed and cleaned. I received this item at a discounted rate to try in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
