This Chef Asher digital kitchen thermometer is a necessary tool for my kitchen. I mainly use it for meat. I am so paranoid about serving and eating under cooked meat. The probe of this thermometer is pointed so it pokes into meat or whatever very easy. It can measure Celsius or Fahrenheit. There is a a button that switches it. There is a button to turn it on and it will automatically shut off by itself. I really like that there is a plastic cover to protect the probe and I can put it in my drawer and not poke myself on it. On the end of the thermometer is a a little notch that I can use to hang it up if I wanted to. The digital display is easy to read. It seems like a pretty good value compared to other similar thermometers. I am happy with it. I received this item at a discounted rate to try in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
