I needed a mirror like this Spaire 360° rotating makeup mirror. I think extra light is necessary when applying makeup. This mirror has LED's on both sides. One side looks normal and the other side has 5x magnification. I really like that because with the light I can see up close things I would never catch otherwise. When I tweeze my eyebrows I can now see all those little hairs that I usually miss. When I put makeup on I don't put too much on because when I use to apply my makeup without a lit up mirror I couldn't tell how it really looked. I will never go without a light up mirror again because my makeup looks so better than it use to. It uses 3 AAA batteries and they are included. There is an on/off push button on the base of the mirror. It would be nice if it maybe had 2 different levels of brightness but it is still a good mirror. I received this item at a discounted rate to try in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
