I can retrieve files from my broken laptop, they are not lost forever!

I am thrilled with this iDsonix USB 3.0 To 2.5 inch SATA docking case. It can fit a 7mm to 9.5mm slim 2.5 inch SATA hard drive or Solid State drive. I had an old laptop that had a lot of problems. The display would go in and out, it had an old operating system on it and it ran very slow. I could not always count on it to start up. I had some files and a lot of photos on it and I did not want to lose them. I opened the bottom of my laptop and removed the hard drive. Make sure to remove any brackets attached to the hard drive so it fits perfectly into the SATA case. There is a lid on the case that slides off and inside you can see what position to slide the hard drive in so the plug on the hard drive matches inside the case. There is an indicator light so you know it is powered and ready to go. I just plugged the cord in an it loaded into my computer. I did not have to install any software to use it. I am happy to have all my files back. I received this item for free to try in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
