Useful for my networking class
I gave this 5 out of 5 stars
I had previously used a set of tools like this HDE Ethernet network kit in my networking class last semester. I made an ethernet cord with RJ45 connectors. I used the cable cutting and stripping tool first to cut and prepare the wires. Then I put the correct wires into the RJ45 connectors and crimped it to secure the plug on the wires. After that I Plugged the cord into the cable tester to make sure all the wires were properly connected. The tester uses a 9 volt battery and it comes with a storage case. It is a nice set. It is small and portable, excellent for using out in the field. I and happy with it. I received this item for free to try in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
