          With all the talk of lead in the water supply all across the U.S., a test kit is a must! I tested my water for lead and it was safe. I am very relieved because I live in a house that is close to 150 years old. The pipes have always worried me but now I have peace of mind. Besides lead, this drinking water test kit also tests for bacteria, pesticides, iron, copper, alkalinity, pH, hardness, chlorine, nitrates and nitrites. That is why it is called 10 test in 1 kit, there are not 10 different tests inside. It comes in 2 parts, the lead test and then the test for all the other stuff. Both parts are individually wrapped and they give detailed directions on how to perform the test. The results are easy to read. There are pictures that show how to read the test results which was really helpful for me. The lead test results only took 10 minutes before I was able to see the results.
