Useful if you have a lot of cassette tapes

This is useful if you still have cassettes. If you want CD quality recordings you will have to buy the CD itself. While this can transfer from cassette, the quality will not be CD quality. It is perfect for those cassettes you recorded yourself or books on cassette. Years ago my Dad was in a band. They created their own album and recorded it to a cassette tape, CD were not invented yet. I am going to use this device to upload his music to the computer, then try to enhance it myself. Included is the converter, USB cable, earphones, mini CD and a manual. The CD installs the program to convert onto the computer. The files can be saved in a few different formats. I like MP3 best because the files are smaller but retain good quality. They can be burned to CD or used as an MP3. This is a fun and useful gadget. There are places out there that charge a fortune convert cassettes to CD. I received this item for free and wanted to leave my thoughts and opinions about it.
