This Slight Touch lancing stick does a very effective job of pricking my finger. It has 5 adjustable depths. I use a low-medium setting but it depends on what finger I am going to test from. It is easy to adjust. To adjust the setting, first there must be a lancet inside the pen then just twist the cap to the number. The higher the number, the deeper the prick. The cap twists on and off. Set the height, untwist the cap and gently pull out the end of the device and stick a lancet in. Then place at a finger tip and press the blue button. This pen is made out of plastic. It can use many different types of lancets. I received this item at a discounted rate to try in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
