This mini CMOS CCTV camera is useful. It is not very big, so it doesn't take up much space. It also has RCA jacks and that makes it more versatile. You do not have to use this camera with a DVR. You can buy an adapter that plugs into your computers USB port and use your computer as a security system. There are tons of software programs out there to choose from, free and paid software that have a lot of options. You could also hook it up to a TV or a VCR. This pinhole camera comes with a lens cover and it has 6 LED lights on it to help it see in low light. It does not really have night vision. To use it in the dark will require extra light. There is an audio jack and a video jack. The other plug is to get power to the camera. It will need a 12 volt adapter. It is not included but they only cost a couple of dollars. It is a nice little camera. I received this item for free to try in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
