Keeps feet totally dry

These mid-calf rain boots are tall enough to keep water from getting inside the boots. They are all rubber and there really are not any seams that the water could soak thru. I ordered the green since green is my favorite color. They are dark green. The top of the boot has a strap so the tightness can be adjusted. If they are too big on your calves you don't want rain falling into them. The bottoms of the boots have traction on them so there is less of a chance to slip. The inside of the boots have a lining so it isn't just putting your foot in rubber but they are very thin. They would not be comfortable to wear very long. My daughter in law has wide a wide calf and can't wear boots this high, so she took a pair of boots just like these and cut them down lower so they protected her feet and ankles. They still looked good and she uses them all the time now. It would be pretty easy to trim these with a pair of heavy duty scissors.
