This a a nice big outdoor umbrella. It has a 9 foot span so it covers a large area. The pole is aluminum so it is strong but light enough to maneuver. the umbrella is made of polyester so it should last a very long time outdoors Near the top of the umbrella is a hinge that can tilt it. There is a crank to open and close the umbrella. I suggest it stays closed when not in use so a gust of wind does not catch it. It is a gorgeous tan color. It matches just about anything. I love sitting outside but it gets so hot in the sun. I usually end up going inside to get out of the hot rays. This big umbrella totally shields me and I can sit in the shade. It also protects from the rain. A set of lights strung thru the umbrella frame would look awesome. It will get a lot of use this summer. I received this item for free to try in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
